Rice Basket Bag, Large Raffia in Pink – Nathalie Lété Print

Beautiful basket bag with woven handles and a charming printed motif of a flower bouquet. The bag is spacious and can hold a lot, making it perfect for beach trips, everyday use, picnics, or storing toys. The bag is made from the natural and eco-friendly material raffia and features a practical little pocket inside for your essentials. Measures 22 x 33 x 32 cm.

Note: All RICE basket bags are handmade from Raffia, which naturally varies in color. This variation also extends to dyeing. Sometimes the dye is light, other times more intense. This means no two bags are exactly the same. The same goes for the shape—there might be slight differences as well. We believe this adds to the charm, showing that the product is handmade.

About the material: Raffia fibers are a fantastic natural material that comes from palm leaves, and RICE’s raffia is sourced from Madagascar. All raffia products are made with heart—they are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar, where the production helps improve resources for the towns’ residents. The production supports more than 300 families on the Red Island. Since raffia is a natural material and the baskets are handmade, each product will vary slightly in color, shape, and size. The colors will fade if the product is exposed to constant sunlight.
