Vilac Music Set, Rhythm Instruments

Wooden music set with 5 instruments: tambourine, metallophone, egg maracas, double maracas, and castanets, all delicately illustrated by Sarah Betz-Cubeely.

Introduce children to music from an early age and let them explore a variety of sounds, rhythms, and tones. As your child plays with these instruments, they’ll develop their musical ear, sense of rhythm, and listening skills.

The wooden music set is an excellent tool for enhancing your child’s fine motor skills and coordination. By handling the maracas, playing the tambourine, striking the metallophone, or using the castanet, the child improves hand-eye coordination and precision in their movements. Each instrument offers a unique playing experience, helping to refine their movements and increase dexterity. This activity also prepares them for future learning, such as writing, by strengthening the muscles in their small hands.
